Sightseeing in the Algarve.

We advice you to rent a car!

There is no regular transfer by bus shuttle from the airport of Faro to the urbanisations so, without renting a car, you need a taxi. A return ticket costs € 55,-(approximately GBP 47.-).

Not only for the transfer it might be better to rent a car. In the information map, available in our four villas and on our website we inform you about trips to explore the Algarve by car. If you want to play golf on the famous Algarvan golf courses, you need a car as well.

Anyway, in case you fly to Faro airport, we recommend you to rent a car at the local car renter. If you forward us your flight details, we can ask an offer from a local company we know for over 10 years now. He delivers its cars at Faro airport, parking P2, no more than 150 meters from the arrivals hall.

 It is not necessary to queue in front of the counter of a worldwide car renter. The representative of the company is waiting for you on a coach after you left the customs area. Indication of the price: a  Renault Clio or Fiat Punto will cost € 175,- (GBP 138.-) in the period of time between July 1st and October 1st. In mid season the price is € 140,- (GBP 110.-) and between November 1st and April 1st the price is € 100,- (GBP 79.-). Off course they rent bigger cars as well.
